The Community: A sitcom about the hapless hopefuls in Community television

Welcome to "the Community"

The series gives a tongue in cheek behind the scenes look at what it takes to put together a community television tonight show and the hapless hopefuls that are working on it. Set at the offices of “The Madhouse,” a program produced by students from fictional Bligh University, the show-within-a-show concept is handed to a new generation who don’t really understand it.

Hosted by smarmy Rick York, “The Madhouse” is a tonight show, that thanks to their flighty producer Penny, struggles to muster guests, crew, directors and still only has one working light globe in the office. What it does have going for it is that, even if they screw up, only 2000 people in all of Melbourne saw it.
