Episode 1 synopsis: In the Spotlight

On this week’s episode of The Community, The Madhouse is undergoing some changes. Penny finds herself inadvertently in the spotlight as the new stationery arrives with the business cards and letterheads failing to highlight the good, clean, fun of the show.

Enthusiastic, new members of the crew are welcomed to The Madhouse fold. All are chafing at the bits for a brilliant, hands-on experience, but not all get exactly the experience they were expecting.

The new crew members may not see the tarnish, though, as Rick organises a dazzling theme show to honour a very special guest.

As usual, Bec and Pete move beyond the frustrations of working for Penny and Rick and get on with their jobs of making the show happen, but a new director is inspired to take the show down a shadier path than The Madhouse gang had ever thought.
