The Community: A sitcom about the hapless hopefuls in Community television

The Creators

Anthony Earl and Trevor Wood have both had a long history in community tv.

Trevor worked on over 100 episodes of various shows with the La Trobe Media Group doing everything from directing, editing and animation to appearing in sketches. In fact the only thing he didn't do was be the barrel girl and that was only because they couldn't afford a barrel. He's also written, co-directed and filmed numerous award nominated short films. In his other life he's a graphic designer in a multimedia production unit.

Anthony was been writing for the past ten years. He has worked as director/camera/editor for various media production companies producing corporates, education videos and award-nominated short comedies, as well as directing sketches and studio production for community television.

It was while they were both working for the La Trobe Media Group they shared the horror stories of community television and decided they could either cry or laugh. Thus the Community was born.
